Katie Marriott works in the Pharmacy at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. Having initially had little idea what her role would entail, she is now training for a specialist role in Aseptic Pharmacy.

In her talk Katie Marriott will describe her career journey in NHS Pharmacy and what actually happens in the basement of the hospitals, such as the preparation of chemotherapy medications. She will also cover the steps taken to ensure patients remain safe.
